Copies of the new Seneca County draft Agricultural Enhancement plan are now available to farmers and other interested members of the public.
Hard copies have been placed at town halls and public libraries throughout the county. You can also read the plan here.
Public meetings on the draft plan will be held Wednesday at 7PM at the county Health and Senior Services Building in Waterloo and Jan. 18 in the South Seneca High School auditorium. The Wednesday meeting will be available on Zoom. Call Judy Wright at Seneca County Cooperative Extension by noon Wednesday to get the link.
Enrollment is now open for three programs through Cooperative Extension’s Cornell University’s Regional Agriculture Teams. They are the Finger Lakes Grape Program, the Northwest New York Dairy, Livestock and Field Crops Team program and, the Cornell Vegetable program.
