Bus shortage causes Auburn High School, Junior High to dismiss early Friday

The Auburn School District is the latest to fall victim to a bus driver shortage.

The Citizen reports the High School and Junior High dismissed students at noon Friday, due to a driver shortage. Superintendent Jeff Pirozzolo said the district was notified by its transportation contractor First Student that there would not be enough drivers. No reason was given for the shortage.

Parents were notified shortly after the start of school Friday. The elementary school dismissed at the regular time.
