A Penn Yan man faces two serious charges after a summertime theft that happened in the village.
Police arrested Tucker Parmelee, 23, of Penn Yan following an investigation in the village.
A warrant was issued for his arrest after an incident on July 1, 2021. It’s alleged that Parmelee unlawfully entered another person’s residence a stole $2,000.
He was charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny.
Police said Parmelee was already in custody at the Steuben County Jail and was brought to Penn Yan Village Court to answer the charges.
