The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Sunday around 12:30 a.m. deputies responded to the area of State Route 318 and Mills Road for a serious, two-car crash.
According to a press release, 38-year-old Jason Wolfanger, of Pennellville and 26-year-old Colton Price, of Junius were the two drivers involved in the wreck.
Wolfanger was traveling in a pickup truck, towing an ATV trailer eastbound on Route 318 when Price crossed the center line of the roadway at a high rate of speed on a motorcycle.
The motorcycle collided with the passenger side panel of the ATV trailer- resulting in serious injuries to Price. He was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital by Life Net.
The Sheriff’s Office deployed their Accident Reconstruction Team to recreate the accident. Price is currently in critical condition at Strong Memorial Hospital, according to a news release on Monday from the sheriff’s office.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the New York State Police, Village of Waterloo Police, Junius Fire Department, and North Seneca Ambulance.
