Cayuga County restaurants are signing up for a voucher program in hopes of getting people to their tables.
Starting August 23, people can download and print local restaurant vouchers that restaurants will match.
When you present the voucher to a participating restaurant, they will double the amount on the voucher with a gift card.
Legislature Chair Aileen McNabb Coleman says for those who aren’t ready to go into the world of public dining, they can save the gift cards for the holidays.
The voucher program was approved in June.
