A 19th century ship has been discovered 500 feet below the surface of Seneca Lake.
It’s believed that the ship carried coal up and down the Erie Canal.
The ship was explored using new equipment and the New York Power Authority and Canal Corporation said the ship may give a glimpse into the history from that time period.
