Deputies say a Sodus man is facing DWI charges, including a felony count, after a crash at the Armitage Road bridge in Wayne County.
Stephen Verstreate, 28, of Sodus is accused of driving while intoxicated after a crash where he failed to brake appropriately for the Armitage Road Bridge.
Deputies say he hit the bridge- and also had a 4-year-old with him at the time of the crash.
His BAC was determined to be 0.13%, which resulted in DWI charges, as well as a felony count under Leandra’s Law. He was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
