There are still openings for the boat building workshop being held at Seneca Yacht Club.
The event is scheduled for August 14-22.
The task at hand for students is to build a six hour canoe that will be powered by one canoe paddle or a double kayak paddle. The canoe weighs around 50 pounds.
A party will be held at the end of the event for people to try out their boats.
Members pay $375 to participate and non-members $400.
