Teen charged after shoplifting investigation at Byrne Dairy in Seneca Falls

Police report the arrest of a local teen following a theft that happened a month ago at a convenience store.

On Sunday, police arrested a 14-year-old who picked up merchandise and exited without paying for it at the Byrne Dairy store on Fall Street.


The 14-year-old was charged with petit larceny and issued an appearance ticket.

The charge will be handled by Seneca County Probation, according to police.
