Deputies say one person was sent to Strong Memorial Hospital after suffering serious injuries in a snowmobile accident in the town of Williamson.
It happened around 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday along a snowmobile trail that connects to Ridge Rd.
Jarvis Cobb, 44, of Sodus was traveling southeast on the trail with other riders when his view became obstructed due to snow from other riders, causing him to miss a turn and be ejected.
His snowmobile went over a ditch and landed on the opposite side of the trail before he was ejected from the machine.
Deputies say Cobb suffered injuries to his leg, back, and head. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital. The Williamson and East Williamson fire departments responded, along with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
