Deputies arrested a 62-year-old Galen man for driving while intoxicated after a personal injury crash on December 10, 2020.
It happened around 1:30 p.m., according to investigators, who say that Gary Jones, 62, of Galen was charged with DWI, driving with a BAC over 0.08%, reckless driving, failure to keep right, and refusal to take a breath test.
Investigation determined that he had a BAC of 0.09% at the time of the crash on Watson Rd.
Jones’ vehicle left the road, hit an embankment and struck the back of a farm truck on the east side of the road.
He was taken into custody without incident and will answer the charges at a later date.
