Deputies: Waterloo man had inappropriate conversations with child

Deputies say a Waterloo man faces a child endangerment charge following an investigation into inappropriate conversations he had with a minor.

On November 23rd around 5:20 p.m. investigators arrested Billyjoe Sachs, 38, of Waterloo on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.


It is alleged that Sachs subjected a child to inappropriate sexual conversations and was encouraging the child to participate in sexual activity. He was being held at the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center awaiting arraignment in the Centralized Arraignment Court.

Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators were assisted in this case by members of the Seneca Falls Police Department and Waterloo Police Department.

Seneca County Child Protective Services is also actively involved in the investigation.
