A Canandaigua man faces charges in Auburn after stealing a snowplow from a local business.
Joshua Holt, 25, of Canandaigua is accused of taking the snowplow back to his home.
Authorities said it was worth approximately $7,000. The theft occurred in late-October, according to deputies.
He was also arrested in a separate incident for strangling a 25-year-old to the point of near unconsciousness, according to Finger Lakes News Radio.
He was held at the Ontario County Jail.
