The Seneca County Health Department reported five new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. They also reported one new death.
It brings the total number of deaths connected to the virus up to 5.
There are 9 active cases at this time in Seneca. Officials say there are 74 people in quarantine and one person hospitalized.
Additional classifying information about the person who died from the virus was not provided.
