The property along Berry Fields Road, which housed BJ’s Wholesale Club for many years is set to be the site of some work.
However, the property had to be rezoned first.
Gershman Properties, a real estate investment and property management company based in Los Angeles, will use the 69,000-square-foot building for climate-controlled storage, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
Part of the BJ’s parking lot will be turned into a multi-use building for three tenants. Two of them could include restaurants or banks with drive-thru capacity. The other would be office or retail space.
It’s unclear how much interest has been fielded by ownership about using the property.
