First responders are being credited, along with a Good Samaritan for saving a dog who fell through an icy pond.

A passerby noticed a dog, who had fallen through the ice on a frozen pond off Route 14.

Firefighters were able to rescue the dog.

First responders say the dog is back home with its family.
