New Canandaigua city council takes shape, identifies goals

There are goals, both old and new, in Canandaigua as a new city council takes shape.

Mayor Bob Palumbo outlined the things he’d like to see focused on over the next four years at a meeting on Monday, according to the Canandaigua Messenger.

Mayor Palumbo says that it will be a combination of city resident interests and those of tourists who spend money inside the city.

Among his goals: Improve accessibility to Canandaigua Lake, downtown, and other points of interest throughout the city. There will also be a transportation committee.
