On Wednesday, December 11, all of Onondaga Community College’s were ready to throw their caps and celebrate getting their degrees.
Amongst the sea of graduating students, there was a new group of nontraditional graduates.
For the first time, students in the new Weekend College program will be graduating.
The program was designed to help working adults complete their education by offering courses of study on Friday nights and Saturdays.
The school offers multiple associate degree programs.
Graduates talked about the challenges and the lessons learned through the program.
