Two sent to hospital after crash on SR 414 in Fayette

The Seneca county Sheriff’s Office reports that on Wednesday at approximately 6:40 a.m. deputies responded to a two-car personal injury crash on State Route 414 in Fayette.

Deputies investigated and determined that Jennifer Carroll, 38, was traveling north when she became distracted and rear-ended a vehicle operated by 19-year-old Timothy Sanpietro.

Deputies say he was stopped and attempting to turn left onto Yellow Tavern Road.

Carooll complained of chest pain, and Sanpietro complained of right leg pain. Both were transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance for further medical treatment.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Deputies did not report whether any tickets were issued.
