Deputies say a Lyons man was arrested following an investigation into counterfeit money.
Timothy J. Powers, 38, of Lyons was arrested at his residence following an investigation into an incident that happened at a business on January 2nd.
Powers is accused of possessing a counterfeit $100 bill. He was charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument this week.
He was committed to the Wayne County Jail on no bail; and is set to reappear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
