Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck has issued a Travel Advisory due to icy road conditions.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution as they travel. Give yourself extra time to stop and reduce your speed as you drive this morning.
Plows are out and treating the roadways but hazardous conditions exist throughout the County due to heavy icing overnight.
It will take some time to clear as temperatures have begun to rise.
