Donald Trump issued another endorsement of Bruce Blakeman on the eve of New York’s gubernatorial election, according to a statement distributed Monday by Gov. Kathy Hochul’s campaign. The release quoted Trump calling the Republican challenger “MAGA all the way” and urging voters to support him.
The Nov. 2 statement pointed to a Truth Social post and quoted Trump giving Blakeman his “Complete and Total Endorsement.” Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Hochul’s campaign circulated the endorsement as it continued to emphasize Blakeman’s ties to Trump. The release came from the Democratic governor’s campaign, which is competing against Blakeman in Tuesday’s election.
The election-eve message followed Trump’s Oct. 31 tele-rally for New York Republican candidates. During that call, previously reported by FingerLakes1.com, Trump renewed his support for Blakeman and promised federal help if he became governor.
