Two hurt in Farmington SUV crash; driver cited

Two people were injured Friday when two SUVs collided at Hook and Collett roads in Farmington, according to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office.

Lisa Anderson, 65, of Holley, was driving a white 2020 Hyundai SUV west on Collett Road when she failed to yield at a stop sign, deputies said.

Deputies responded to the intersection at about 4:12 p.m.

Her vehicle collided with a black 2021 Chevrolet SUV traveling south on Hook Road, driven by Miranda Rinker, 33, of Honeoye.

Anderson suffered a facial injury, and her passenger suffered a lower-leg injury.

Victor Farmington Ambulance took Anderson to F.F. Thompson Hospital and her passenger to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Rinker was not injured.

Anderson was cited for failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign.

The Farmington Fire Department assisted at the scene.
