Manchester man charged after drug found during Farmington call

An Ontario County sheriff’s response to a call involving a reported intoxicated driver at a Farmington convenience store ended with a drug-possession charge Tuesday night.

Logan Perrotte, 31, of Manchester was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after deputies said they found crack cocaine in his possession.

Deputies said they went to the 7-Eleven at 1283 State Route 332 to assist New York State Police with the driver investigation. The sheriff’s release did not report a charge related to impaired driving.

Perrotte was issued an appearance ticket for Farmington Town Court at a later date, according to the sheriff’s office.
