A top-prize TAKE 5 ticket worth $31,024.50 was sold at an Auburn convenience store for Thursday's evening drawing, according to the New York Lottery.
The ticket was purchased at A-Plus #08212, at 36 E. Genesee St., for the Oct. 8 drawing.
The Lottery announced one top-prize winning ticket for that drawing but did not identify the ticket holder or say whether the prize had been claimed.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. Drawings are televised twice a day, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Lottery draw-game prizes may be claimed for up to one year after the drawing, according to the announcement.
