Midlakes Middle/High School has named 12 students of the month for September, recognizing two students in each grade from seventh through 12th.
The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District said the science department selected the students for displaying respect, one of the school's core values.
Seventh-grade honorees are Bennett Garrison and Parker Garrison. The eighth-grade students are Emma Rathbone and Mason Gruschow.
In ninth grade, the school recognized Sawyer Lawson and Conner Gage. Tenth-grade honorees are Lily Weaver and Andrew Serrano-Rosa.
Riley Marion and Maddie Wise were selected in 11th grade. The 12th-grade students are Isabella Davis and Lexi Murphy.
