A 75-year-old Waterloo man was charged with driving while intoxicated Friday after Seneca County sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle on West River Road in the town of Fayette.
Deputies accused Robert Buffone of failing to keep right of the yellow center line before the stop, according to the sheriff's Sept. 28 release.
The sheriff's office said deputies administered field sobriety tests, then arrested Buffone after further investigation.
Police said a chemical breath test measured Buffone's blood-alcohol concentration at 0.13%. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol level above the legal threshold and failing to keep right.
Buffone was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Fayette Town Court on Nov. 10 to answer the charges, according to the release.
