Geneva police reported four arrests from Friday and Saturday, including a felony weapon charge tied to a year-old search warrant, a cocaine possession charge, a store theft and a drug-impaired driving case.
The department's Sept. 28 arrest blotter identifies three incidents on Friday and one on Saturday. The accounts and charges come from police; the blotter does not report final court outcomes.
Gwendolyn McFadden, 47, of Geneva, was arrested Friday on Exchange Street and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Police said the charge followed a several-month investigation into narcotics sales in the city and stemmed from a search warrant executed at McFadden's home in September 2025.
Police did not describe the weapon or specify how the warrant led to Friday's arrest. McFadden was processed at the police department and taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment, according to the blotter. Police said McFadden was released without bail and is due in Geneva City Criminal Court at a later date.
Ramon Arroyo-Morales, 49, of Geneva, was arrested Friday on Castle Street after Byrne Dairy staff reported a theft, police said. Officers accused him of taking a 12-pack of Corona beer valued at $22.60 and charged him with petit larceny.
Arroyo-Morales was processed and given an appearance ticket for Geneva City Criminal Court at a later date, the blotter says. No further case status was provided.
Denim Noble, 22, of Geneva, was arrested Saturday on Genesee Street after officers learned he had two active bench warrants from Geneva City Criminal Court for failing to appear, police said. During a search, officers found cocaine in Noble's bag, according to the blotter.
Noble was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and taken to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment. The blotter does not identify the cases underlying the warrants; Noble's new drug charge is distinct from theft charges reported in August.
Joannie O'Donovan, 29, of Geneva, was arrested Friday after a traffic stop on North Main Street, police said. Officers reported that O'Donovan was driving 43 mph in a 30-mph zone and was impaired by drugs while operating a vehicle on a public road.
Police charged O'Donovan with drug-impaired driving and speeding in a zone. O'Donovan was processed and issued an appearance ticket for Geneva City Criminal Court at a later date.
