Scott Snyder has been hired as principal of Russell I. Doig Middle School in the Trumansburg Central School District, according to Tompkins Weekly. The Board of Education unanimously approved the appointment at its July 27 meeting.
Snyder most recently served as principal of career and technical education for TST BOCES.
His previous work included oversight of career and technical education, New Visions and World of Work programming.
The appointment runs from Sept. 28, 2026, through Sept. 27, 2029, with a prorated salary of $110,000 for the 2026-27 school year.
Snyder is expected to attend the district's Aug. 18 Board of Education meeting.
