Trumansburg officials will hold public hearings on proposed school-area traffic changes at the village board's August meeting, according to Tompkins Weekly. The measures would affect parking and school speed zones near Trumansburg Central School District.
One proposal would prohibit parking on the south side of Whig Street between School House Lane and Truman Street on school days.
The restriction would run from 7:30 in the morning to 3:30 in the afternoon.
Another proposal would add reduced school speed zones on South Street, Whig Street, and Truman Street.
The public hearings are scheduled for the August 10 village board meeting.
