A Lyons man was arrested after deputies said he spit at a family member and tried to prevent the person from calling 911 during a domestic dispute.
Santo DeLork, 53, of Westphal Parkway in Lyons, was charged after an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies alleged DeLork spit at the family member and attempted to stop the person from calling 911 while a refrain-from order of protection was in place.
DeLork was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment, according to the sheriff's office.
The incident was investigated by road patrol and the Criminal Investigations Division. Deputy Peterson was listed as the investigating officer.
DeLork was scheduled to appear for centralized arraignment in Lyons Town Court at 7 p.m. June 29 to answer the charges.
