A traffic crash in Victor led to a driving while intoxicated charge Thursday night, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Kara L. Ponko, 35, of Wayland, was charged with DWI following a crash at the intersection of State Route 96 and State Route 251 at about 10:40 p.m. Deputies determined Ponko was at fault in the collision.
According to investigators, further investigation found Ponko was operating a vehicle on a public highway while intoxicated at the time of the crash. Authorities did not report any injuries associated with the incident.
Ponko was issued uniform traffic tickets and released. She is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
