A domestic disturbance reported weeks earlier led to a late-night arrest in Seneca Falls, with police charging a local man with obstructing a person’s breathing.
Officers took Joshua Dyson, 39, of Seneca Falls, into custody shortly after midnight May 1 following an investigation into an April 11 incident, according to the Seneca Falls Police Department.
Dyson was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation. Police said he was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he was held pending arraignment.
Authorities said an order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
