Another week of Wayne-Finger Lakes high school spring sports wrapped up Saturday with big individual performances across the lacrosse field.
In boys lacrosse, Ayden Clark totaled nine points and Fischer Sleeman added a seven-goal game to lead Marcus Whitman, while Braden Fingar scored six times for Penn Yan and Evan Shulla accounted for all six goals for Newark. Victor and Palmyra-Macedon also stayed on track behind balanced scoring. On the girls side, McKenna Anderson netted five goals to pace Victor.
In the only baseball game, Wayne got a perfect day at the plate from Kolby Frechette, backed by a strong pitching effort in a close win to stay undefeated on the season.

Ben Smith earned the win in relief with four strikeouts over three innings, and Aidan Twist allowed just one unearned run over four innings to start.
