Several more sectional champions were crowned Saturday across Section V, as Penn Yan and Victor captured boys lacrosse titles. The Mustangs claimed their 29th sectional championship and the Blue Devils earned their 11th, while East Rochester baseball and Dundee/Bradford softball fell just short in their title-game appearances.

The Bombers jumped out to an early lead with two runs in the first inning but was unable to regain momentum after the Lions evened the game in the third. Liam DeHollander kept East Rochester in contention, striking out five over 4.1 innings. Mason Loria, Tyler Leisten, and Noah Wollschlager each recorded hits, with Wollschlager driving in a run. After the game was tied, Wellsville pulled ahead in the third and gradually added to its advantage. Wollschlager also contributed on the mound, striking out three batters in 1.2 innings of relief.
