A dominant showing in the circle and several explosive offensive nights highlighted Friday’s Wayne-Finger Lakes slate. Elise Wilkinson headlined the day with a five-inning perfect game for Lyons, while Lydia McKay struck out 11 and helped fuel Gananda/Marion’s aggressive attack on the bases. At the plate, Calla McCombs powered Bloomfield with a home run and five RBI, and Dundee/Bradford used timely hitting and speed to break things open late. Geneva also got a strong outing from Carmela Mazzocchi in the circle, backed by multiple run-producing performances at the plate.

The offense produced 11 hits and was aggressive on the bases with 16 stolen bases, with Kalli Meyer and Lexie Phamisith each collecting two hits. For the Cougars, Olivia DeBoerdere went 3-for-4 and Kaydence Dierksen added two hits.
