Finger Lakes Community College put together a productive weekend on the diamond, sweeping Tompkins Cortland before splitting a doubleheader with Genesee.
The Lakers opened with a dominant 16-2 win, then edged out a 7-6 victory in extra innings to complete the sweep on Saturday.
On Sunday, FLCC carried that momentum into a 6-3 win over Genesee in the opener before dropping the finale 6-2.
Markus Brehm led the offense during the weekend, contributing a home run, multiple RBIs and aggressive baserunning, while the pitching staff delivered key performances across the four games.
The split left the Lakers continuing to build consistency as they move deeper into conference play.
