CLIFTON SPRINGS — A Geneva man was taken into custody early Wednesday after Ontario County deputies say he violated a full stay-away order of protection by contacting a protected individual.
Justin Chilson, 40, was arrested around 7 a.m. April 15 at a residence on Pleasant Street in Clifton Springs following an investigation into multiple messages sent to the protected party, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said Chilson was taken into custody without incident and charged with violating the order of protection.
He was transported to the Ontario County Jail for centralized arraignment proceedings.
The case was investigated by deputies with assistance from additional sheriff’s office personnel.
