Deputies arrested a Penn Yan woman after authorities said she entered a condemned home in the Town of Torrey without permission.
Crystal L. Fiero, 43, of Penn Yan was taken into custody March 2 at about 6:10 p.m. on Hazard Road, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said Fiero entered a dwelling that had been condemned by the Town of Torrey and was not authorized to be inside.
Deputies charged her with second-degree criminal trespass.
Fiero was issued an appearance ticket and released. Authorities said she was also provided temporary housing.
Deputies Aini and McGuigan responded to the incident with assistance from the New York State Police.
