Auburn expands Pango parking payments

Drivers in Auburn will soon have two new ways to pay for parking without downloading an app, according to The Citizen.

City Clerk Chuck Mason told the City Council that Pango will add a scan-to-pay option and a call-to-park program. Motorists can scan a QR code or call 1-877-myPango to enter their license plate, location and credit card information. The city has used Pango’s app since 2013.

Parking revenue hit $46,133 in 2025 from more than 32,000 sessions. January 2026 brought in about $4,000. Officials hope the added options boost revenue as the city collects $600,000 in unpaid tickets and weighs costly kiosk replacements.
