High utility bills and the war in Iran sparked tough questions at a packed Auburn town hall, according to The Citizen.
U.S. Rep. John Mannion met with residents Tuesday at Cayuga Community College, where he criticized President Donald Trump’s handling of the Iran conflict and said Congress should approve military action. He also warned the war could cost the U.S. about $1 billion per day.
Residents also pressed Mannion on rising energy costs. He pointed to strong winter demand and energy supply pressures while backing a broader energy mix that includes nuclear, hydro, wind, and solar.
