A vehicle ended up in a ditch along State Route 15A early Friday morning, leading to drug-related driving charges, deputies say.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ryan W. Folts, 37, of Springwater, around 3:23 a.m. February 14 at 6346 State Route 15A in the Town of Canadice.
Deputies say the arrest followed a report that Folts crashed his vehicle into a ditch in that area.
After an investigation, deputies determined Folts operated the vehicle while impaired by drugs. Authorities also say he possessed a revoked New York State driver’s license.
Deputies charged Folts with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Aggravated Unlicensed Operator in the first degree.
Officials issued traffic citations and released Folts. He will appear in Canadice Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Deputy VanKoevering led the investigation, with assistance from other Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies.
