Deputies say a Canadice man is facing charges after he called 911 with a report that turned out to be fake.
Derrick J. Krager, 34, was arrested Tuesday by Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies.
Investigators say Krager knowingly made a false report to 911 in an attempt to trigger a police response to his home on County Road 37.
He was charged with falsely reporting an incident in the third degree. Deputies did not release details about what the false report involved.
Krager is expected to appear in Canadice Town Court at a later date.
