After decades as a local fixture, an Ithaca accounting firm is joining a larger upstate group, according to WENY. Sciarabba Walker & Co., LLP announced it will become part of Bowers Accountants and Advisors, expanding Bowers’ reach into the Ithaca market.
Bowers already operates offices in Syracuse, Rochester, and Watertown and provides CPA and tax advisory services. Leaders from both firms say the move strengthens client services while preserving Sciarabba Walker’s long-standing community ties.
Sciarabba Walker & Co., LLP will transition its name, branding, and website to the Bowers brand in the coming months. The firm has served the Ithaca area for roughly 40 years from its Cayuga Heights office.
