Yates County deputies took a Penn Yan man into custody after locating him on an outstanding bench warrant at the Ontario County Jail.
Sheriff’s officials said deputies arrested Eric J. Ronchi, 35, on Jan. 20 on a bench warrant issued out of the Town of Milo Court for failure to appear.
According to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, Ronchi was already at the Ontario County Jail when deputies executed the warrant. He was taken into custody and transported to the Yates County Jail.
Ronchi is being held while he awaits arraignment at the next session of Yates County CAP Court.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Office handled the arrest with assistance from Ontario County.
