The Baltimore Ravens have requested permission to interview Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady for their head coaching vacancy, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Friday.
Brady, 36, joined the Bills in 2022 as quarterbacks coach and was promoted to offensive coordinator midway through the 2023 season following Ken Dorsey’s departure. He assumed the role full-time in 2024.
Brady first gained national attention as LSU’s passing-game coordinator in 2019, winning the Broyles Award as the nation’s top assistant while helping the Tigers capture the College Football Playoff national championship.
Brady then served as Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator from 2020 until 2021 under Matt Rhule but was let go prior to Rhule’s midseason 2022 dismissal.
Since joining Buffalo, Brady’s offense has flourished. The Bills ranked 10th and fourth in total yards and second and fourth in points over the past two seasons. Buffalo led the league in rushing in 2025, with James Cook rushing for 1,621 yards and quarterback Josh Allen adding 579 yards with 14 touchdowns on the ground. Under Brady, Allen also captured his first MVP award in 2024.
