Deputies arrested a woman after an investigation in the Village of Sodus involving a child safety complaint.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Alyssa M. Reintjes, 34, of Old Lyons Road on Jan. 8. Deputies charged her with endangering the welfare of a child.
Authorities said the charge stems from a complaint at the Sodus Jr./Sr. High School parking lot. Investigators allege Reintjes asked and allowed an unlicensed 16-year-old to operate her vehicle.
Deputies issued Reintjes an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in Sodus Town Court at a later date.
The investigation was handled by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
