Deputies arrested a Lyons woman after locating her on an outstanding bench warrant Wednesday evening.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested a 42-year-old woman from Lyons at about 6:59 p.m. on Jan. 7. Sheriff Tim Thompson identified the suspect as Stephanie L. Weaver.
Authorities said the bench warrant was issued for failure to appear in court on two charges: criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and possession of contraband in prison in the second degree.
Deputies took Weaver into custody and transported her to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where she is being held pending arraignment.
The case number associated with the arrest is 25SH14236.
