Livingston County leaders kicked off the new year by selecting familiar leadership during an organizational meeting in Geneseo.
The Livingston County Board of Supervisors met Monday and reelected Avon Town Supervisor David L. LeFeber as board chair. The vote marked his ninth consecutive year in the role.
The board also reappointed Caledonia Town Supervisor Daniel Pangrazio as vice chair, a position he has held since 2022.
“It’s a real honor to be able to represent the board of supervisors and to be involved here in Livingston County,” LeFeber said. He said he looks forward to working with county leaders and staff to provide strong services for residents.
Standing committee leadership will remain unchanged from last year. Nunda Town Supervisor Merilee G. Walker will continue to chair the Human Services Committee. York Town Supervisor Gerald Deming will chair the Public Services Committee, and Ossian Town Supervisor Dwight Knapp will chair the Ways and Means Committee.
The Livingston County Board of Supervisors meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. Meetings take place at the Livingston County Government Center at 6 Court Street in Geneseo and are open to the public.
