Friday night typically features a full slate of Wayne-Finger Lakes high school basketball action, but this time only three games were on the schedule. Despite the limited slate, there were still notable performances, highlighted by the Gananda boys extending their win streak to three with a non-league victory over York to close the Holiday Tournament at Caledonia-Mumford. On the girls side, Newark continued its strong start to the season, rolling past Brockport to remain unbeaten and improve to 4-0.
